Do I need to be technical?
No. Lightportal is designed around everyday language, visual work, and a guided introduction. Speak or type what you want to do. Advanced tools are there when you want them.
Can I use it today?
Yes. Download the early Mac preview directly below, with no email or account required. You need an Apple silicon Mac and macOS 13 or later. The preview is not yet Apple-notarized, so macOS may ask for an extra first-launch confirmation. This website introduces the app; the app runs on your Mac.
What do I need to get started?
The current preview uses your own AI connection, set up once in the app. Live voice and image creation need a compatible connection. Provider usage may cost money; included credits are not currently available to everyone.
Does Nova have access to everything?
You choose what Nova can access and the approval level that suits you. macOS permissions are granted by you. You can change those choices later.
What does Nova remember?
Personal preferences and useful context can be saved across conversations. You can review, edit, or remove that memory. Your local workspace is not automatically public, and selected context is sent to connected AI services to carry out your requests.
What happened to the retreat?

One thing about this early preview
This preview is not yet Apple-notarized. If your Mac blocks the first launch, review the release, then use System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway if you trust it. You never need to turn off your Mac’s security.
